So often we take our everyday luxuries for granted. Just today I discovered even a sophisticate such as the Heir of Neptune is unfamiliar with the art of vinification. This is to be remedied.

It is as a public service, then, that I would like to extend an invitation to join me this weekend for a tour and private tasting at the Brooklyn Winery. Previous acquaintance with me is not a prerequisite, nor is your interaction once we arrive at the venue. We are all busy people. However, I do ask that you be over 21.

Yes, I shall be paying.

If this offer is of interest please deliver your RSVP by Wednesday so the appropriate reservations may be made. Non-alcoholic drinks are on offer, and apparently their chef is rather good as well.

I confess I'm still unclear on how such vintages were consumed. Surely they suffered from a degree of dilution.

Does the chef make stuff on request? Like...fancy pop tarts?

Upon perusing the menu and noting how many items are the equivalent of "whatever the chef feels inclined to create that day" I would suspect not. Some chefs do not have a favourable view of those who attempt to order off-menu, and they are best not trifled with. I do, however, see a brioche French toast, and I encourage you to let none restrain you regarding whatsoever you choose to adorn it with.
