(no subject)

Just now getting caught up, but then, you people haven't made that particularly challenging. Forge is right -- this place is boring. I, on the other hand, took the initiative and had myself a perfectly enjoyable New Year's Eve. The local nightlife may be a little lacking, but it did the job. Granted, the reason why I have to catch myself up at all is because certain individuals wanted to impress upon me that the staff would prefer to be informed if a student plans be off-campus past the appointed curfew, especially if said student has "special dietary concerns". Although allowances were made for New Year's, this grace period apparently did not extend to Monday afternoon. (What? I called in. ...Eventually.)

Still, much-needed fun was had, entirely mundane conversation was made, and I now have verification that everything my mates said about American women and an Australian accent is true. On the balance, not a bad weekend.

So, what is it now, Thursday? And Lorna's still got leftover food? Excellent.
