Whilst undoubtably on the lower side of odd for this particular environ, is it just me or has there been a certain lyrical upswing of late? A cursory inspection of the journals has revealed no less than three separate instances of inexplicable poesy, with some indication on the part of the participants that it is less than voluntary. Which strikes me as mildly, how should I put it . . . weird as sod.

I tend to agree as to the cause, if only because contemplating an individual whose idea of justice involves the forcible imposition of rhyme and metre fills me with a sort of wistful despair.

Strange, one would think a truth-spell would be most useful when levered against the older members, but no -- affliction is especially apparent amidst the younger and less security-cleared. Curious.

In common -- aside from living in the Nexus of All Unlikelihoods, you mean? A valid question, though I regret my presence of late has been little aside from what is required for work, training, or utter collapse in that general order. I would consider alerting Dr. Grey-Summers, although from the looks of things the news would be coming a few hours too late for the early edition, if you catch my meaning.

That's why the checking newsfeeds - if there's incidents elsewhere, we're looking at some kind of wider agent. If it's not, if it's just the school, then we can narrow it down better. Anything new or different in the last few weeks... I know Kyle was haikuing a while ago, yeah? The spiky kid mentioned thinking his keyboard was busted?

Might want to alert your powers that be, actually. If they aren't already looking at it. I've drawn a blank on the weird mystical side so far, but I'll keep looking, maybe ask a few folks.

This started, ah, what, Monday was it? I am told they have been appraised. I would ask the security officer for details, except he has mysteriously withdrawn from communications in the interest of preventing the potential spillage of information and I am sure in no way to do with the fact his other-of-significance has been affected.

Nah, Forge is just being careful, it's what he's paid to do. At least this time he's not quarantining himself.

Ugh, doing these comparisons is like playing "One of these things is not like the other", only everything is different. Trying to find a link between Jane, Kyle, her Highness and the new girl alone... way too many variables here.
