When in close proximity to another mutant they secreted a sort of numbing analgesic substance that doubled for an anti-coagulant, much like the saliva of a vampire bat. I'm told it made the biting a shade less painful, but it was quite sticky and did not wash well.

I cannot speak to what Layla intended, but Mr. Summers suffered an accident some years ago where he lost an eye. He has quite a nice prosthetic now, however, and it does not seem to impair him much.

Three powers at once is pushing it a bit as it is. Also I do not believe I would retain the powers long enough to develop wings. I tried that with Jay. All I remember is intense discomfort and an inability to lay properly on my back.
